She has a special interest in preventive medicine, senior pet care, and client education. When she’s not in the exam room, you’ll likely find her hiking with her golden retriever, Scout, or volunteering with local animal rescue groups.

Dr. Marcus Chen, DVM
Veterinarian – Surgery & Internal Medicine
Dr. Chen brings a calm, steady presence to every appointment and has advanced training in soft tissue surgery and diagnostic imaging. Clients appreciate his clear communication and commitment to finding the best care plan for every pet. Outside of work, he’s an amateur woodworker and proud cat dad to two senior rescues, Luna and Max.

Her calm demeanor and attention to detail make her an invaluable part of the Evergreen team. At home, she enjoys trail running and spoiling her energetic border collie, Finn.
